Ocr Race 2

Today I took on my second OCR (Muscle Acre 6K) race and lets just say it was brutal!!

Obviously it had to be an icy February morning and I happened to be wearing shorts - stupid choice. We got up around 7am and arrived at the race at around 8:30 so we had two and a half hours to kill.. The race itself was not too long, however towards the last 2k I was faced with endless mud baths of icy water. By the time I had finished this mud slog my legs were about to fall off, but I made it nevertheless :)

I was happy enough with my result as I won my age category and came 33rd overall which wasn't too bad considering running isn't my strong point. Tony came 3rd overall, which wasn't a surprise..
